Dahlias represent many things - positive change, new beginnings, inner strength, & standing out from the crowd. A baby isn’t the only thing born during birth, a mother is too! As a new momma, you are the dahlia, & I’m here to "dance" with you. I am here to hold you, guide you, serve you, & support you along this new journey.

My mission
Sometimes it may feel like time stands still during birth. All of the sensations & raw emotions make for some pretty incredible moments - so many challenges you overcome & so much to celebrate. While we feel like there is no way we could ever forget anything about this special day, it isn't too long before all of those details start to become foggy. My job is to make sure that doesn't happen. I will quietly hold space for you while documenting your journey into motherhood, no matter if this is your first time or your tenth.
Once you are home & settled, I am here to continue supporting you & your family. After struggling during both of my postpartum periods, I knew exactly how I wanted to serve others. I found myself trying to navigate motherhood alongside postpartum mood disorders, piles of dishes & laundry that seemed never-ending, as well as feelings of overwhelm & isolation. This was a huge adjustment period for both my husband & I. My ultimate goal is to be that extra relief I wish we had.
